This is the home of Jameson, Powers, Paddy, Redbreast, and Midleton Very Rare — the entire Irish Distillers portfolio is made here. The restored original distillery buildings host the visitor experience; the modern distilling happens next door in a purpose-built 2013 facility.
Standard 75-minute tours (~€28) walk through malting, mashing, distillation, and maturation, ending in a three-whiskey comparative tasting. The 11-metre tall pot still in the courtyard is the largest in the world. Reachable by direct train from Cork Kent station (25 minutes).
