Honouring the Enduring Legacy of the Ashford Estate’s Beloved Wolfhounds

A Message From Ashford Estate

THE KISSING ROCK

It is with a mix of fond remembrance and heartfelt sorrow that we invite you to join us in celebrating the lives of wolfhounds Cronan and Garvan, two of THE ASHFORD ESTATE’S most beloved residents. Our latest video, narrated by their devoted handler, James, captures the essence of their characters, reminding us all of the profound impact they had on our Ashford family.

In commemoration of their unwavering loyalty and the joy they brought to our guests on MORNING WALKS, we have taken a special step to immortalise their spirits. A beautiful bronze plaque now adorns their cherished “Kissing Rock”, a place where countless memories were shared and wet kisses exchanged. Through this enduring symbol, we pay homage to the bond shared between man and dog, forever etched into the heart of our estate.

Their legacy lives on through the next generation of Ashford Estate wolfhounds, who continue to grace our grounds with their playful spirits and loyal companionship.

May the memories of Cronan and Garvan continue to bring joy and inspiration, reminding us of the enduring bond between humans and their faithful companions.

Warmest wishes,

NIALL ROCHFORD

MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE ASHFORD ESTATE
