Which river flows through Monaghan town?

The Blackwater River, also known as Monaghan Blackwater, is an important river that flows through the town of Monaghan in County Monaghan, Ireland. The river rises near the Bragan Mountains on the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, before running southwards for approximately 100 kilometres and eventually emptying into Lough Neagh.
