Dublin is year-round. Peak summer (June–Aug) for best weather; Sept–Oct for sweet-spot value; St Patrick’s Day for atmosphere (book early).
Pubs close 11:30pm Mon–Thu, 12:30am Fri–Sat, 11pm Sun. Must-try food: Full Irish, coddle, boxty, bacon & cabbage. Guinness really does taste better here.
Dublin is generally a safe city. Common-sense precautions apply — watch for pickpockets in Temple Bar, use a taxi late at night in the north inner city.

Dublin’s weather is famously changeable. Pack layers, a waterproof, and comfortable shoes year-round.

Dublin’s city centre is compact and walkable. For longer distances: Leap Card on Bus/Luas/DART. Uber does not do regular rides here — use Free Now or Bolt.
