In 2023, for every customer who rents a car from My Irish Cousin, they will be planting one native Irish tree!
The trees, oak, alder and roan saplings, will be planted on the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way in Co. Kerry with help from Cloudforest. Visitors can come to experience the newly planted forest, and those overseas will have access to live webcam footage of the area.
My Irish Cousin’s long term goal is to help restore and protect Ireland’s natural beauty while still providing a top-notch car rental service.
Cousin Malachy spoke of the project, “The team has been working on this project for quite a while now and we are delighted to be partnering with Bernard from Cloudforest. By gifting each customer a tree with their car rental, not only are we doing our part for the environment but providing a great memento that our customers can cherish forever; their very own little piece of Ireland!”
