SEED Belfast’s Culinary Excellence Earns National Recognition in Uber Eats Competition
Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year – After an extensive search for culinary excellence across the UK and Ireland, the food delivery service has revealed the standout spots from each region vying for top honors in the upcoming national final
Over the past three months, enthusiastic food enthusiasts cast thousands of votes to support their favorite dining establishment in Northern Ireland.
The title of NI Restaurant of the Year was ultimately bestowed upon Seed Belfast, a relative newcomer to the scene.
In the month of October, Seed and fellow finalists will assemble to showcase their culinary talents before a distinguished panel of industry experts.
The judging panel includes Prue Leith, Monica Galetti, and Uber Eats General Manager Matthew Price. The grand winner will be officially crowned at a glamorous London reception on October 5th, accompanied by a prize of £100,000 to invest in their thriving business.
Seed, initially established in Dungannon, County Tyrone, has now expanded to a second location on Lisburn Road in South Belfast, focusing on health-conscious dining options and convenient takeout services.
In light of their recent victory, Seed expressed heartfelt gratitude to their dedicated staff for their unwavering commitment to the restaurant’s ongoing success.
Taking to social media to share their elation, Seed posted on their Facebook page, saying, “We extend a massive thank you for your overwhelming support in the Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Awards. We’re absolutely thrilled to have emerged victorious in the Northern Ireland regional round, and we are now gearing up to compete in the national final in London!

Recipe Of The Week –
Chris’s Traditional Shortbread Fingers
These shortbread fingers are absolutely delicious.
They’re a huge hit here at home with the wife and the kids and I’ve also had a lot of positive feedback from followers on the page who gave them a go.
They’re simple enough to do so if you happen to have a bit of flour, butter and sugar on hand don’t even think about it and get cracking!
