What a classist article. One Northside area included and had the article been written a few years ago it wouldn't have been included. Temple bar is a rip off as is most of Dublin. GPO is a good 'Northside' shout but I would add Glasnevin for the Botanic Gardens, The Cemetery and the best pub in Ireland, The Gravediggers. I would also add Malahide Castle and Ardgillan castle as good Northside Options. The Blue Light pub in South Dublin should also be there.

GPO (General Post Office) was the headquarters of the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising. It's still a working post office, but the basement is a museum. We were talking to a guy in Dublin and asked what we should go see, and he said the GPO. We learned way more about Irish history there than we learned anywhere else. If you don't care about history and just want to visit breweries, then fine, but we were very glad he suggested it.
