A Whisper From Ireland

Bring layers, not plans—just follow the mist,
You’ll find the best places were never on lists.

Forget perfect timing or checking your map,
The magic arrives in the pause, in the gap.

Don’t ask for the weather—just wait and you’ll see,
It might pour at your feet while there’s sun on the sea.

Say “Sláinte” with strangers, and mean every cheer,
A story begins with the first pint, not the beer.

The cliffs may be famous, the hills often told,
But it’s quiet green lanes that feel ancient and bold.

So listen for whispers, not noise or grand sights—
Ireland reveals herself slow, in soft light.

Temple Bar Shocks Day-Tripper With € 8.95 Baby Guinness

So, last week, Rebecca Hough decided to spontaneously hit up Dublin for a chill day with her buddies. They were having a blast until they got the bill from the famous Temple Bar pub, and let me tell you, it left them absolutely shocked.

The grand total? A whopping 78.60 euros for the drinks they ordered. Can you believe it? And get this, about half of the bill was just for four shots of baby Guinness, each costing a jaw-dropping € 8.95! Talk about an expensive round of drinks, right?

Is Temple Bar A Tourist Trap?

Local Dubliners will be adamant that the Temple Bar neigbourhoud is a tourist trap with overpriced pints, too many tourists and rowdy bachelors parties.

But visitors flock to this area, Temple Bar is a high-profile tourism destination attracting approximately 3.5 million visits a year.
