Ireland’s First Dogs steal the show during royal visit
Ireland’s First Dogs steal the show during royal visit – As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Ireland officially for the first time on July 10, 2018, they were joined by none other than President Michael D Higgins’ two Irish dogs – Bród and Shadow. The two Bernese mountain dogs stole the show with their lively presence as they interacted with the royal couple during their visit to Aras an Uachtarain.
The dogs excitedly greeted the royal couple and were clearly delighted with the attention they received from Harry and Meghan. In turn, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex couldn’t help but show their affection for Bród and Shadow, with Prince Harry even taking a few moments to give them some gentle pats.
The roly-poly dogs were certainly an important part of the event, as they added a touch of warmth and humor to the visit. The pair’s enthusiasm was contagious, further bringing the meeting to life and making it a memorable one for all involved – including Bród and Shadow! The Irish dogs have since become internet sensations, with pictures of them and the royal couple going viral on social media.
The presence of Bród and Shadow is a testament to the importance of animals in our lives and how they have the ability to bring people together. It was indeed an incredibly special moment for these two dogs as they were able to interact with members of the British Royal Family. All in all, it was an event to remember for both human and canine attendees
