The Fitzgerald family was from the rural village of Bruff in County Limerick in the west of Ireland.
During their visit to Galway, JFK and Jackie purchased Claddagh rings to commemorate the occasion. As they departed from Galway, The President fondly proclaimed, “You send us home covered with gifts which we can barely carry, but most of all you send us home with the warmest memories of you and of your country.”

My two grand Pops were born in Ireland 🇮🇪.But the Moms were born here in the USA .As we were They both spoke different cockney .And was so hard for me to under stand them .They never talked much about there country .But I always wanted to know more .Hoping that you can help me
