INGREDIENTS:
1 crisp sour apple pinch of cinnamon
15 grams brown sugar 20 grams sultanas
15 grams butter 1 sheet of puff pastry.
METHOD: Peel and core apple , cut it in half around the middle, mix sugar,cinnamon, sultanas and butter and poke into the holes in the apples pressing in firmly. Cut pastry sheets in half and place an apple half on each half of pastry. Gather the edges of pastry up and squash the edges enclosing the apple. give it a good squeeze all over to expel air and ensure a good seal. Bake 15-20 minutes in 250 degree celsius oven until crispy brown all over. Serve hot warm or cold, with custard, cream, icecream, yoghurt or naked. It does not get any easier than this Apple Duff Dessert.
