Is the Guinness Storehouse worth it?

The Guinness Storehouse is not only worth it but in our view an unmissable part of a trip to Ireland. Guinness is the most popular drink in Ireland and as much part of the culture as Irish music and Irish dancing. If you really want to understand Ireland you need to learn about the history of Guinness. Also note that the Guinnes Storehouse is the most visited place in Ireland and not without reason.

At the Guinness Storehouse you can do a self-guided tour that takes around  90 minutes. Do you want to learn more of what the tour entails? Keep reading and learn more about the Guinness Storehouse tour.

One of the best tips we can give you is to save a lot fo time by buying your tickets to the storehouse in advance. Best of all is that a ticket includes a pint of Guinness.

Seven Floors to Explore

The Guinness Storehouse is spread over seven floors. On the ground floor, do make sure to pick up an audio guide. These are available in : Mandarin, Portuguese, Italian, French, Spanish, or German.

Your exciting journey starts at the bottom of the world’s largest pint glass and continues up through the  seven floors filled with interactive experiences that explain the fusion of the  long Guinness brewing heritage and  Ireland’s rich history.

When you reach  to the seventh floor, you’ll be in the highest bar in Dublin, apply named  the Gravity Bar, which is on the roof of the building. Here you can  see “360 views” of Dublin while having the perfect ending to your experience, having a pint of Guinness.
