His profound love for the city of his birth and upbringing, along with its inhabitants, fueled this vision. As a result, he initiated Martin McCrossan City Tours as a personal interest alongside his other business ventures.
This avocation gradually evolved into a full-time pursuit. Martin subsequently chose to dedicate himself entirely to his passion – guiding tours.
Tragically, he passed away at the untimely age of 52 in 2015.
In the aftermath of his departure, local council members and city patrons bestowed upon him the title of ‘Mr. Derry.’ The enterprise continues to flourish under the capable leadership of Charlene, Martin’s daughter and a Blue Badge Tourist Guide.
