In a separate bowl, mix the applesauce, agave syrup, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract if using. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Grease an oven-safe bowl or baking dish, place the dough inside, round the edges, and score a cross on top. Bake for 25 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave the bread inside for another 10 minutes to finish cooking gently.

Can You Freeze Vegan Irish Soda Bread?
Yes, you can freeze this soda bread. Slice it first, then wrap the slices tightly in cling film and place them in a freezer bag. When ready to eat, thaw at room temperature or toast slices directly from frozen for a warm treat.
Why Is My Vegan Irish Soda Bread Dense?
If your soda bread turns out dense, it may be due to overmixing the batter or using expired baking soda. Mix ingredients gently and ensure your baking soda is fresh to achieve a light, fluffy texture.
