How to get to Slane Castle

By car: Slane Castle is easy to get to by car, with several major roads leading directly there. From Dublin, take the M1 motorway northbound and follow signs for Drogheda. As you enter County Meath, turn off at Junction 8 onto the N51 towards Slane village. At the village crossroads, turn left and follow the signs for Slane Castle.

By public transport: Slane is accessible by both train and bus, with regular connections from Dublin city centre. From the city centre, take a train to Drogheda and then get the bus from there to Slane. Alternatively, take a bus directly from the city centre to Slane. There is also a shuttle bus service that runs on event days, connecting Slane village with Dublin Airport and other nearby towns.
