How to get to Kinbane Castle
Kinbane Castle is located on the Causeway Coastal Route in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, about 4km (2.5 miles) west of Ballycastle, between Ballycastle and Ballintoy. By car, follow the B15 (Torr Road) from Ballycastle; there’s a small free car park at Kinbane Head, from which the steep path of around 140 stone steps leads down to the castle ruin.
Public transport is also possible: the 402 bus service between Ballycastle and Coleraine stops on Whitepark Road near Kinbane Head. The closest airport is Belfast International, around an hour’s drive away, with taxis and car rental available there.
